NOTE: HISTORICAL DATA INDICATES THAT THE CONTINUED AND PROLONGED USE OF "ALMOST NATURAL TROPICAL FISH FOOD, U.S.A." FOODS MAY RESULT IN EXTREMELY HEALTHY AND EXCEPTIONALLY VIBRANT TROPICAL FISH
ALL of my flakes are soft in nature versus being hard and brittle like many hobbyists are accustomed to. This makes it easier for the fish to eat them as well as get them digested faster into their systems to absorb as much as the nutrition out of it as possible. Because of this, hardly any waste comes out of the other end.
When it comes to breeding in conjunction with using my soft flakes, they are digested even faster and are that much easier for the fish to eat. This enables the nutrients to get absorbed that much faster. This leads to more nutrition getting into the "sperm and egg reserves" quicker and for a longer duration before the parent fish absorbs it all for him/her self. This will generally lead to larger and healthier spawns. The same principle works on the livebearer side of the shop also except of course, the unborn live fry are absorbing it. Ultimately, with all of the above happening quicker and with a lot less energy being exerted by the fish to eat the flakes in the first place, a lot more time and energy can be spent by the fish in concentrating on having babies.
IMPORTANT NOTE about my Breeder Delight foods - Although some of my flakes are called "Breeder Delights",they are NOT only meant to be used for folks who are attempting to breed their fish. Yes, many of the Breeder Delights contain things that seem to improve the breeding process however, they also provide great nutrition for fish that are not breeding. Mix and match them as you please for a great varied diet. I have several combination flakes that are already mixed and provide a terrific varied diet - i.e. my TRIO, QUATRO and CINCO Flakes.
NOTE: If you have a food that you would like to see in a Flake format, let me know and I'll add it to my "customers wish list". I will be adding more Flakes in the future, in part based upon your input, however, I'll make the more popular request(s) first :)
